Course Objectives: 

The aim of this course is to give students the basic principles of economics and the way of economic thinking. The objectives of the course are to evaluate macroeconomic conditions such as national income, unemployment, inflation and growth, how monetary policy and fiscal policy can be used to influence short-term and long-term macroeconomic conditions.

Course Content: 

This course will teach students the basic tools of macroeconomics and apply them to real world economic policy. The course introduces macroeconomics in the context of current issues. National income analysis, money and banking, economic growth and stability, unemployment, inflation and the role of the government are the main issues.
