Hande Tek Turan, Asst. Prof. at the Department of Public Administration, Yeditepe University, recognised in global digital government case study competition Hande Tek Turan has been named a Runner-Up in the 2025 
Teaching Public Service in the Digital Age (TPSDA) Case Study Competition, showcasing innovative teaching materials that prepare public servants to work in digital-era government. Her submission is titled Open Data for Open Governance: Lessons from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Open Data Platform. Run by Teaching Public Service in the Digital Age - a non-profit founded at Harvard Kennedy School, the competition invited educators worldwide to share classroom-ready case studies that reflect the significance of digital governance in the 21st century.
