Economic Development Foundation (İKV) Technical Visit

Our Public Administration Department will visit the Economic Development Foundation (İKV) on Tuesday, April 28th, between 11:00 and 12:30, as part of the "European Union and Turkish Administrative Area" (PA403) course.

During our visit, there will be a presentation on the current state of Turkey-EU relations, along with an information session regarding İKV’s internship program.

• Departure Time: A shuttle will depart from in front of the Rectorate building at 09:45.
• Eligibility & Quota: The event is open to all students of our faculty, but participation is limited by a quota.

Visit by Our Public Administration Department to IKV and the Istanbul EU Information Center

Within the scope of the European Union and Turkish Administrative Area course (PA403), our Public Administration Department conducted a study visit to the Economic Development Foundation (IKV) and the Istanbul EU Information Center under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hande Tek Turan.

During the visit, our students received information on the current state of Türkiye-EU relations from IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Nas, and listened to a detailed presentation by IKV Deputy Secretary General M. Gökhan Kilit on the history of IKV and its role in Türkiye-EU relations. Additionally, IKV Press Advisor and Istanbul EU Information Center Coordinator Mehmet Poyrazlı informed the students about internship programs and the center's activities.

In the Q&A session held at the end of the event, our students had the opportunity to ask the experts directly about their questions regarding Türkiye-EU relations and hear about the latest developments firsthand.
