Yeditepe University has reached the local finals of the CFA Institute Research Challenge Competition by being selected as one of the top five teams from among the 31 participating teams representing 25 universities from four countries. Yeditepe is represented by a team of five students (in alphabetical order of the last name): Münevver Aydıngüzel (International Finance Undergraduate Program), Burak Batmaz (Financial Economics Doctoral Program), Ali Karakaya (International Trade and Business Double Major Undergraduate Program; Master of Business Administration), Gülşen Ovacık (Financial Economics Master’s Program), and Senanur Tuncer (International Finance Undergraduate Program). The industry mentor for the team is Attila Köksal, CFA, Investment Banker. The academic advisor for the team is Sema Dube, Ph.D., Chair of International Finance Department and Graduate Programs in Financial Economics.
