Course Objectives: 

1. To increase the understanding and implementation of effective interpersonal communication behaviors and skills 2. To examine the role of interpersonal communication in human relationships with regard to business life in the tourism sector 3. To explore how relationships are created, negotiated, maintained, and terminated, based on effective or ineffective communication. 4. To equip students with the necessary skills to establish effective communication in intercultural settings with relation to the tourism sector.

Course Content: 

Models of communication, interpersonal communication, verbal and non-verbal communication, intercultural communication, negotiation and conflict management, communication barriers, presentation skills
