Course Objectives: 

Gives the student a general idea about the “tracks” in the tourism industry i.e hospitality,transport, distribution and support logistics fields, informs about the industry associations, tourism types and environmental concerns.

Course Content: 

The 4 tracks, Associations, Intermediary bodies, Statistics, History of tourism, Impact on the economy, Future prospects.
