Course Objectives: 

Agricultural tourism (agritourism) is a growing industry for the interaction between humans and agriculture, food, natural resources, and the environment. The aim of this course is to introduce the growing industry of agritourism globally.

Course Content: 

This course offers an opportunity for students to explore a growing agritourism industry. In this course, students will be introduced to agritourism within the context of agribusiness, food, tourism, ecology, interculturality, sustainability, and rural development. The aspects of agricultural tourism will be discussed in the scope of the economic, social, cultural, and environmental human interaction.
