Course Objectives: 

This course is equivalent to the Applied Entrepreneurship Training organized within the scope of the Entrepreneurship Support Program implemented within the framework of the KOSGEB Support Program Regulation. Students who successfully complete this course will be given a Certificate of Participation in Applied Entrepreneurship Education. It will be possible for these document holders to benefit from the grants of TL 30,000 and supports of up to TL 70,000 from KOSGEB. The goals are to inform students in entrepreneur and entrepreneurship concepts, introduce entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey, to realize their entrepreneurial potential, to gain the necessary skills for entrepreneurship, and to support them to be successful entrepreneurs.

Course Content: 

This class addresses the unique entrepreneurial experience of conceiving, evaluating, creating, managing, and potentially selling a business. The course relies on classroom discussion, participation, guest speakers, case analysis, the creation of a feasibility plan, and building a business plan to develop a comprehensive strategy for launching and managing a business. Students will need to draw upon their business education and experience, and apply it to the task of launching a new venture. Fundamentals of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship process, elements of business plan concept, workshops for preparing business plan, writing business plan, presentation of business plan. Entrepreneurial discussions regarding the key business areas of finance, accounting, marketing and management include the creative aspects of entrepreneurship.
