Course Objectives: 
 The aim of the course is to ensure that the students are able to make a synthesis of the articles relating to topics in Political Science and International Relations and to put forward their arguments on a current and topical issue with fluency in French.
Course Content: 
Articles on Political Science and International Relations are studied through the listing of rules on the ‘Syntèse du Texte’ (Synthesis) technique, while a synthesis of various articles on a chosen topic is written.
Articles authored by prominent thinkers such as Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Diderot, Montesquieu, Charles Peguy, Alexis de Tocqueville are studied and elaborated on. Articles in the print media in relation to the topic are studied.                                                                                                                                                    Turkish - French and French - Turkish text translations are made.
The students are provided with information on a current and topical issue and discussion groups are formed.
