Course Objectives:
This course presents a sociological analysis on different concept as state, power, authority, elite, political structure and functions, political professionals and public opinion, elections, citizenship and public policy.
Course Content:
The concepts such as State, power and authority relations, legitimacy and different political models and actors elites, citizens and their democratic participation through elections and public policies and social movements will be discussed during the course.
