Course Objectives: 

The aim of this course is to provide a basic knowledge related with the analysis of data extracted from existing maps on social sciences and collect appropriate data in order to create new maps by using a specialized cartography software (ArcGIS, MapInfo).

Course Content: 
The first of part of this course focuses on the importance of using maps in social sciences and the basic knowledge of cartography; and aims to develop students skills to analyze maps and maps datas.  The second part of the course is reserved to develop an understanding for the collect of data and the map production process.
