Course Objectives: 

The aim, of course, to give an insight about theories of democracy, specifically the modern theories.

Course Content: 

In this course; Pluralist, elitist, and class theories, realist, liberal and illiberal theories of democracy, polyarchy, realist democracy, radical democracy, strong democracy, deliberative democracy, post-democracy theories are discussed.
