Course Objectives: 

This course is designed to introduce students to the theoretical framework of agricultural communications and to give them an interdisciplinary understanding in the context of agriculture and communication.

Course Content: 

The definition of agricultural communications, the academic development and importance of agricultural communications as an interdisciplinary field, the structure and functioning of agricultural communications, the basic elements of agricultural communications and all aspects of agricultural communications (agricultural extension; agricultural education; agricultural literacy and advocacy; agricultural sustainability; risk and crisis management in agriculture, food, natural resources, and environment systems).
