Course Objectives: 

This course is designed to introduce students to the role of media in society within the theoretical framework of media studies and to provide them with an interdisciplinary understanding of the relationship between agriculture, food systems and the media.

Course Content: 

The role of media in society, the effects and importance of the media, the structure and functioning of media, and the relationship between agriculture and food systems, mass media and society, also the dissemination of agri-food information and all agricultural issues will be discussed through the media.

Course Methodology:
