Course Objectives: 

As an introductory course, the "Introduction to Management" is designed to familiarize the students with the basic concepts, principles, models, theories, and practices of management.

Course Content: 

The course is organized around three major topical areas: (a) basic managerial functions such as planning, organizing, leading, and controlling; (b) critical managerial skills such as decision making, leadership, and communication; and (c) special issues concerning ethics, social responsibility, international management, and external social, economic and technological forces which shape the theory and practice of managing organizations.
