Course Objectives: 

It is aimed to inform mid-level manager candidates about the forecasting, planning and cost in the logistics sector, whether it is the service or the service provider.

Course Content: 

This course; planning and management of logistics functions and supply chain activities. During the course; introduction to physical distribution and logistics, logistics systems, product and logistics, logistics and supply chain management, order management and customer service, protective packaging and transport systems, principles of inventory management, distribution centers and warehouses, logistics costs, information technologies and electronic logistics, third Party logistics services, supplier selection and development, demand management, rapid response, strategic alliances, performance measurements. In addition, issues such as integration of procurement, material management and multi-firm logistics planning will be discussed.
