Course Objectives: 

Objective of the course is to instruct students about logistics and marketing management. Marketing management will help students understand what marketing is and importance of marketing in business and social life. Logistics management will make students understand relationship between marketing and logistics activities.

Course Content: 

Initially, students will be given information about marketing and marketing management. Marketing management will be analyzed in terms of both business and social life. In this context students will be provided “the importance of the marketing, nature and scope of the marketing, marketing concepts, marketing environment analysis, buyers behaviour & marketing segmentation, product, packaging and labelling, contents of marketing plans and pricing”.  

Then logistics management issues will be given to students. Initially fundamentals of logistics will be given and then logistics will be analyzed in two ways, first “logistics in marketing” and second “marketing logistics”.    

Both marketing and logistics issues will be taught in “objective method”. In this method components of the marketing and logistics will be analyzed and then the general opinion will be reached.
