Course Objectives: 

The purpose of this course is to examine the economic and social dynamics of the political relations between Turkey and the EU.

Course Content: 

The relations between Turkey and the EU; the conceptual, historical and institutional development of these relations; the current debate on the enlargement of the EU; Turkey's position on EU-Turkey relations.
