This course is designed to acquaint the students with the basic concepts, principles, theories, and practices of management
The course is organized around three major topical areas: 1. Fundamental managerial functions such as planning, organizing, directing, and controlling; 2. Critical managerial skills such as decision-making, leadership, motivation and communication and;3. Special issues concerning ethics, social responsibility, external social, economic and technological forces which shape the theory and practice of management.
